I’m excited to use this with my 3 year old and start helping him with his letter recognition. Plus the mailbox idea is so cute!
I love how simple it is and gives me a way to easily teach my kiddos about the environment!
This unit study is all about exploring space! They'll build cool models of planets, discover amazing constellations, make their own bouncing balls, and play with galaxy oobleck! And guess what? You don't need to worry about gathering materials because everything you need is right in the crate.

Make learning a lifestyle. With resources for all ages and learning styles, your whole family can Explore Space together. With both a full Unit Crate and a smaller-scale Mini, there's something for elementary-grade kids of all ages. Busy hands big and small are in for hours of open-ended play with the Space Busy Bin, and the Stardust and GLOW Magna-Tiles are the perfect educational toy for expanding planetary play.
Just imagine ... it's a Wednesday morning, and your fifth-grader is intently constructing a solar system model on the playroom floor while his little siblings search for gems in their Space Busy Bin. After lunch, brother curls up on the couch with Where Are the Constellations? for independent reading while the littles sit nearby building a rocket ship with Magna-Tiles. Later, while you're making dinner, all three kiddos are at the kitchen table making toothpick-and-marshmallow constellations. That's the magic of family-style learning! And that's a Knowledge Crates Unit Study. 😉
